This Privacy Policy explains how WristDeck, operated by Kant LLC ("Company", "we", "us"), handles information in connection with the WristDeck website, iPhone app, and Apple Watch app.

2. Data We Process

WristDeck is a voice-note and study-pack application. Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

• Account or authentication identifiers,
• Voice-note audio you record or upload,
• Transcript text generated from voice-note audio,
• Study summaries, key concepts, lesson cards, and quiz prompts,
• Note titles, timestamps, duration, source platform, and status,
• Subscription entitlement and purchase status,
• Technical logs, crash data, device type, app version, and OS,
• Website cookie or similar technology data, if used.

We do not sell personal data. We also do not send voice-note audio, transcript text, summaries, or note titles to analytics or attribution tools.

3. Purposes of Processing

We process data for the following purposes:

• Providing voice-note recording, upload, storage, and playback,
• Generating transcripts and study-pack outputs,
• Showing note status, retry states, and recent study packs,
• Managing subscriptions and Pro access,
• Maintaining reliability, security, and fraud prevention,
• Understanding app performance and install attribution,
• Responding to support, privacy, and legal requests.

4. Method of Collection and Legal Basis

Data may be collected through:

• The WristDeck iPhone app and Apple Watch app,
• Audio upload, transcription, and study-pack workflows,
• App Store subscription and entitlement systems,
• Technical, crash, analytics, and attribution tools,
• Support emails or other direct communications,
• The WristDeck website.

Where collected data qualifies as personal data under applicable law, it may be processed based on contract performance, legitimate interest, legal obligation, or explicit consent where required.

5. Service Providers and Transfers

We may share data with service providers only as needed to operate and protect WristDeck, including:

• Cloud hosting and database providers,
• Object storage and upload infrastructure providers,
• AI, transcription, and study-generation providers,
• Authentication providers,
• App Store purchase and subscription providers,

• Authorized public institutions where legally required.

Any data shared with providers is limited to what is necessary for product, operational, security, legal, and support purposes.

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and disclosure. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

Voice notes and related study-pack data are retained for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for reliability, security, and operational purposes.

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Your Rights
