Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using WristDeck, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the application or website.

1. Service Description

WristDeck is a voice-note application that lets users record or upload audio and generate related study materials, including transcripts, summaries, key concepts, lesson cards, and review questions. The service is operated by Kant LLC.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use WristDeck on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use WristDeck only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Use the service for illegal, harmful, abusive, or deceptive acts,
• Record or upload content you do not have the right to process,
• Violate privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights,
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass the service,
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts,
• Use generated output as professional legal, medical, or financial advice.

4. User Content

You are responsible for the audio, text, notes, and other materials you submit to WristDeck. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit that content and allow us to process it.

By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, transform, and display that content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve WristDeck.

5. Generated Output

WristDeck may generate transcripts, summaries, key concepts, lesson cards, and review questions from your recordings. Generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying it before relying on it.

6. Recordings and Consent

You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to recording conversations, lectures, meetings, or other audio. This may include getting consent from participants before recording.

7. Accounts

If WristDeck offers account creation, you agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

8. Subscriptions and Purchases

WristDeck may offer paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Purchases through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled through your Apple ID subscription settings.

9. Intellectual Property

WristDeck, including its software, design, name, logo, website, interfaces, and related materials, is owned by Kant LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the service except as allowed by law or with our prior written permission.

10. Service Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue WristDeck or any part of it at any time. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades, outages, or events outside our control.

11. Disclaimer

WristDeck is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error free, or fully accurate.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kant LLCshall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of WristDeck.

13. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to WristDeck if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates legal, security, operational, or product risk.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of WristDeck after updated Terms are published means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by applicable legal requirements and the operations of Kant LLC. If a specific jurisdiction must apply, disputes may be resolved before the competent courts of Istanbul, Turkey, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
